Giant Cupcake and mop slippers

Ok, so the two parts to the title of this post are a little unrelated but I had to 'slip' (pardon the pun) my new purchase in here somewhere. My dad always said there would be a market for mop slippers or just strips of carpet under your shoes so you wouldn't need to carpet your whole house. Well, there I am popping out for cake ingredients and I see these in the window. Magic, they work a charm. Although not as mops but rather a polishing device after you have mopped the floor.  Anyway, that was the clean up after the cake. Here's the cake - I made layers or cake and then shaped it as I really don't like the wilton cupcake moulds as the cake is never that nice in texture.
